How
Can a Mother Be the Queen When Her Son Is the King?
You’re talking about real Catholics often calling the Blessed
Ever-Virgin Mary the ‘Queen of
Highest Heaven’, just like a real & good Catholic will often call
Her Son, Jesus Christ, the ‘King of
Highest Heaven’. King of Heaven, Queen of Heaven? Can a mere human woman truly be the Queen of Heaven?
And the answer is, “Yes. She can. Because God can freely make
Her so.”
Have you not read in the last book of the Bible, the Apocalypse,
what non-Catholics call Revelation:
“And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and
on her head a crown of twelve stars…” (Apocalypse 12:1 DRC)
Reading all of Chapter 12 in the Apocalypse makes it plain this crowned
woman is Mary, since Her Son is clearly Jesus Christ, the God-Man, and King
Above All Other Kings. And, yes, the Mother of a King is always, and just as clearly, a Queen. Ageless, never dying, the
very dearest & immaculate part of His Church / Wife / Body, She is really,
truly & actually God’s
