Understanding Truth

Can’t We Just Know the Truth by Following Our Hearts?

God sometimes does speak to people’s hearts. But if He had given our hearts everything we need to know about His Purpose for human existence, then nobody would disagree.

Think about it.

Everybody in the world differs about what God’s Purpose is for us. Some people don’t even believe in God at all!

So if God speaks to our hearts and that’s the way everybody knows what’s truly important to know, then why can’t people agree with each other about it? Why does everybody have lots of different religions, philosophies, theories & beliefs?

Either only one of them is totally true, or else none of them is totally true. Whichever… we can’t just depend on our hearts to know the Truth that will keep us alive.
